By accessing or using DocTransform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

DocTransform is a web-based document conversion platform that allows users to:

• Convert documents between various formats (PDF, DOC, DOCX, RTF)
• Batch process multiple files simultaneously
• Select quality and output format preferences
• Download converted files

You agree NOT to use DocTransform for:

• Converting copyrighted materials without permission
• Uploading files containing malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Attempting to overwhelm our servers or disrupt service
• Reverse engineering or attempting to access our source code
• Violating any applicable laws or regulations

4. User Responsibilities

• You retain all rights to your original documents
• You are responsible for the legality and appropriateness of uploaded content
• You warrant that you have the right to process and convert uploaded documents
• You agree to comply with all applicable copyright and intellectual property laws

4.2 Security Practices

• Do not upload confidential documents without understanding the risks
• Use secure networks when accessing our service
• Verify downloaded files before using them in critical applications

5. Service Availability and Limitations

5.1 Service Limits

• File Size: Maximum 20MB per file
• File Types: PDF, DOC, DOCX, RTF formats only
• Usage: Reasonable use policy applies to prevent abuse
• Availability: Service provided on a "best effort" basis

5.2 Service Modifications

Beansense Inc reserves the right to:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service
• Update conversion algorithms and supported formats
• Implement new features or remove existing ones
• Change service limits or usage policies

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our data handling practices are detailed in our Privacy Policy, which includes:

• Automatic deletion of all uploaded and converted files
• No permanent storage of document content
• Collection of minimal analytics data for service improvement
• Compliance with Canadian privacy laws (PIPEDA)

By using DocTransform, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Beansense Inc shall not be liable for:

Our total liability shall not exceed CAD $100 or the amount you paid for the service (which is currently $0).

8. Intellectual Property

• DocTransform name, logo, and branding are owned by Beansense Inc
• The service software, algorithms, and technology are proprietary
• All rights not expressly granted to users are reserved

8.2 Your Rights

• You retain all rights to your original documents
• You receive no additional rights to converted documents beyond your original rights
• You may use converted documents according to your original rights and applicable law

9. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time:

• By You: Simply stop using the service
• By Us: We may restrict access for violations of these Terms

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately, though these Terms shall survive termination as applicable.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province where Beansense Inc is incorporated. Any disputes shall be resolved in Canadian courts with competent jurisdiction.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically to reflect:

• Changes in our service or business practices
• New legal requirements or regulations
• Enhanced user protections or clarifications
